SOMLO, the impact sprinklers for agricultural irrigation

15.07.2019

Sprinkler irrigation is a technique that is characterized by being the most similar to what we could call natural irrigation, or irrigation provided by nature, i.e. rain. This is produced thanks to water emitters (sprinklers), which manage to spray a jet of water on the crops in the form of drops.

At Grupo Chamartín, we have full confidence in sprinkler irrigation, as it offers numerous advantages:

  • As a water economy
  • Decrease in salt concentration
  • Improvement of the micro-climate for plants
  • Minimal erosion problems
  • Improved soil condition for seeds
  • Fertilizer supplementation
  • Economy of labor

All these features ultimately lead to higher quality and quantity of production, which is what encourages us to excel in our work every day.

Recommendations for use

  • The spacing between sprinklers to achieve uniform water distribution should not exceed 60% of the diameter of the sprinkler range.
  • It is very important to check the water pressure and the diameter of the nozzles until you are sure that the water consumption and the precipitation surface are as desired.
  • To achieve highly atomized precipitation, increase the working pressure.
  • The sprinklers do not require lubrication. They are lubricated with water during operation.

In our catalog you will find different types of automatic sprinklers: with 360 degrees or sectorial rotation.

If you need a place to sale of sprinklers for irrigation at the best price, Grupo Chamartín will make our experience available to you so that you can choose the best option.
